Admissions Office Has Moved

The Admissions Office has been temporarily relocated to the 3rd floor of the Green Family Library Learning Commons for the summer while the historic Ray House is renovated. Stop by and say hello!

Welcome to the Dean Family

At Dean College, we understand that the college search process isn’t just about the student, it is about families. The families of Dean College students choose to entrust us with the awesome responsibility of educating, inspiring and providing a foundation upon which future success is built, whether that success is employment or additional higher education pursuits elsewhere. The reason they choose Dean is that they recognize that we aren’t just a college, we are a family as well and, because we are a family, we look out for each other and do everything we can to support each other in our endeavors.

Here are some of the hallmarks of the Dean Difference and how we work together with families to provide students a transformative experience that will allow them to achieve their personal, academic and professional goals:

  • We know that every student is an individual
  • We are more focused on our students’ future than their past
  • Our academic monitoring program keeps students on track and identifies potential academic issues before they become real academic problems
  • Personalized advising services with professional academic advisors
  • Experiential learning and professional world exposure imbedded in all levels of the curriculum
  • Classes taught by experienced teaching faculty, not researchers fulfilling a teaching requirement
  • Academic support services for those who need it, when they need it
  • An engaging honors program for those who are looking for that extra challenge
  • The community and safety that is found on our small, comfortable New England campus
