School of Professional and Continuing Studies

Dean College’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS) offers a quality education that is both affordable and convenient to our community's part-time students. Dean's part-time students may complete baccalaureate programs, associate degrees or certificate programs on a flexible schedule, including nine start dates throughout the calendar year. Evening, weekend, and online class options make part-time studies accessible and convenient for students with other full-time responsibilities.

Dean's School of Professional and Continuing Studies serves a diverse population of current college-aged students as well as those with part-time or full-time careers. Given the current economic climate, part-time students also include recent high school graduates looking to combine full-time employment with college coursework. Career driven adults explore courses and certificates for “retooling” and career advancement. Senior citizens looking for educational enrichment within a vibrant learning community also enroll in Dean's SPCS courses. Whether you are interested in pursuing a degree, earning a certificate or just taking one course at a time for personal enrichment, Dean offers an array of courses and programs to help you achieve your academic goals.
