A brief overview of Dean College
Dean College is unique within the higher education landscape. We are a private, residential college offering associate’s and baccalaureate degree programs to an enrollment of approximately 1,000 full time students and nearly 500 part time students. Our location offers the perfect environment for learning and personal growth, nestled in a small New England town less than 45 minutes from Boston and Providence, RI with access by commuter rail located just a short walk from campus. Our motto: Prepare for What’s Next.
At Dean, we embrace students from many different backgrounds and a variety of learning styles. We offer the individualized support necessary to insure academic and personal success for each and every student. That is the Dean Difference. Whether you are looking for academic motivation through our honors program, have a learning disability and seek support through our Arch program, have a dream of succeeding as a dancer or in the theatre, or need to beef up your academic or athletic resume, Dean has a method in place to help you get where you want to go.
Dean Hall continues to function as it did in the 1800's, housing the President’s office, faculty offices, classrooms, and a residence hall.
